Halloween Journey

Everyone is warmly invited to come on a magical journey of fun and surprises on October 31st at the Nelson Waldorf School. $5 per child accompanied by an adult.

On this special autumn night when the veils are thinner and one can see into the Magic world, small groups of children and parents are guided on an enchanting journey along a pumpkin and lantern lit path past various scenes or characters. At most scenes the children receive a simple natural /healthy gift that is symbolic of what they experienced. This is a non-scary journey and it is a Silent journey to hold a mood of reverence and to better see the magic of the night. This is an outdoor event so dress for cold crisp moonlight, chilly mysterious clouds, furious freezing rain or sparkling snow. In an effort to ensure the evening is sustainable and honouring of Mother Earth, each child is asked bring their own small cloth bag for gifts along the way.

All time slots must be prebooked and prepaid through the Nelson Waldorf School office. This is a popular event in the wider Nelson Community and it sells out, so make sure you get your tickets early. Guided groups leave every 10 minutes between 5-7:30pm Cost: $5/ child, including a bag of popcorn at the check-in and natural/healthy gifts along the way.
