How to Find Us
Nelson is a small town of 10,000 in the Selkirk Mountains on the west
arm of Kootenay Lake in the southern interior of British Columbia in
the West Kootenay region. Nelson Waldorf School is situated on 35
acres of mountain splendour, which contributes to a healthy rural
atmosphere.
The school is just a few minutes south of town at 3648 SilverKing Ski Hill Road (off Highway 6, the road to Whitewater Ski Hill, Ymir, and Salmo). Castlegar Regional Airport, which offers service to both Vancouver and Calgary, is half an hour west of town.
