Beverley Barcham General Administrator
Bev is now entering her fourteenth year with NWS. Bev's educational background includes an Associate Degree, Office Management certification courses from the B.C. Justice Institute. Independent School Teacher Certification, and is a graduate of the Waldorf Administration Program from Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento. Bev's journey with children is ongoing to include four step-children, two birth sons, a delightful daughter-in-law, and happy, healthy grandchildren. From their home in Balfour, Bev and her family enjoy dancing, skiing, camping and walking their dogs.
Keitha Patton School Secretary
Keitha is beginning her fourth year at the Nelson Waldorf School as the School Secretary but her time with the school as a parent, a Board/Committee member and as a volunteer began when her daughter Oriel Scout started Kindergarten at the school. Keitha has worked in various occupations over the span of her employment history. She has been, amongst others, a Social Worker, Event Coordinator, Library Technician, Retail Manager, a Professional Hairstylist, and, most unusually, a Rent Collector in England. Many of her positions have been organizational and administratively centered which led her to pursue certification in the ABT (Applied Business Technology) program at Selkirk College. On completion of the program, Keitha was awarded the Lieutenant Governor General's Medal for outstanding achievement. With too many jobs to list, Keitha uses all of the skills she has achieved over the years to maintain the front office and contribute to the daily flow of the school. Keitha has a teenaged daughter, two stepsons, a daughter-in-law and granddaughter in England, and two cats. She enjoys her fun lovin' friends, living in Nelson, and British Comedy.
